Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer
Acceptable use
Version 2026-10-draft, effective 17 October 2026
These are the rules a practice agrees to when it uses Fyling. They are a draft and should not be relied on as final legal terms.
File only for people you act for
Use Fyling to prepare and submit filings only for companies and people your practice acts for and is authorised by. Keep the authority you rely on, such as an engagement letter or the client's authorisation with Companies House or HMRC.
Use only your own credentials
Submit under your practice's own presenter account and the credentials issued to it. Do not use another presenter's credentials, authentication codes or sign-in, and do not share yours outside your practice.
No bulk messages to people who are not your clients
Emails and portal messages sent through Fyling are for your own clients, about the work you do for them. Do not use Fyling to send marketing or bulk messages to people who are not your clients.
Do not probe or overload the service
Do not try to find weaknesses in Fyling, to reach another practice's information, or to put the service under more load than normal use. If you find a problem, tell us rather than testing it further.
