Share allotments
SH01
When a client company issues new shares, Fyling prepares the return of allotment with its statement of capital. Totals are added up for you, so they always agree with the rows, and your practice submits it under its own presenter account.
What it does for your practice
- The statement of capital handles several share classes and currencies.
- Totals are added up for you, so they always agree with the rows.
- A late allotment, or a class whose figures do not add up, is pointed out on the review.
- Allotments are kept on the company's registers in Fyling.
- Every submission is written to your practice's activity log.
How it works
- 1
Open the company and choose a share allotment.
- 2
Enter the shares allotted: class, number, nominal value and amount paid.
- 3
Enter the statement of capital for each currency, and check the totals.
- 4
Submit it under your practice's presenter account.
Who it is for
Practices that handle share issues for owner-managed companies and their investors.
Your practice stays the filer. Fyling is the software your team uses to prepare, check and send the work.
Questions
Does it handle more than one currency?
Yes. The statement of capital has a block for each currency, each with its own share classes.
Who submits the filing?
Your practice does, under its own Companies House presenter account. Fyling prepares the filing, sends it with your credentials and shows you the answer Companies House gives.
What happens if Companies House rejects it?
The filing shows as rejected with the reason Companies House gave, in plain words beside the code, so you can correct it and send it again.
